The MISSION Act of 2018 expanded services under the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) to include legal and financial planning services related to the needs of the injured Veteran. Through these contracted services, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides financial planning and legal services related to the needs of injured Veterans and their Primary Family Caregivers.

Designated Primary Family Caregivers who are enrolled in the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) are eligible for these services. All in-scope services are provided free of charge to the Caregiver or Veteran.

The VHA Caregiver Support Program for Legal and Financial Planning Services offers location-specific educational materials and resources, as well as personal Concierge services to support specific needs and questions.
